Hello folks, and welcome to the third stop on the blog tour for Brigid Kemmerer's AMAZING debut, Storm. Before I get too excited, can we take a moment to wish Brigid a very happy release day! Today, in the US, Storm is born into the world! Go share some love with the amazing BK!
It's no secret I LOVED this book (you can read my review here), and one of the things I loved most were the incredible characters. Whether it's the hilarious banter between the four Merrick brothers, the intense chemistry between protagonist, Becca, and, well, a couple of boys, or just the authenticity of feeling from them, I'm in love. Even with the girls. True story.
It's for this reason that I'm particularly excited to be bringing you Brigid's very own fantasy cast for Storm--the people SHE pictures as her amazing characters. So what do you think? I LOVE the choice of Nina as becca. She's exactly who I had in mind, an I even think she looks a lot like the gorgeous girl from the gorgeous AU cover. Plus, Taylor Kitsch? HELLO. You could tell me you picture Taylor as Santa, and I'd be sold. SO, without further ado: The fantasy cast of STORM!
Long dark hair, grey eyes.
Brigid Says: "I always pictured Becca like Elena from The Vampire Diaries. Pretty, but average, tough, but sweet."
Dark hair, blue eues, a little more of a loner tha his brothers.
Brigid Says: "I always picture Chris kind of like Jeremy from The Vampire Diaries."
Light hair with a streak of white in front, green eyes.
Brigid Says: "I always pictured Hunter a lot like Chord Overstreet, the kid who plays Sam on Glee (though not quite as blond)."
Dark hair, blue eyes
Brigid Says: "They’re the hardest for me, because I’ve never really seen anyone who comes close to the image in my head. This guy, Grey Damon from season 5 of Friday Night Lights, comes close."
Dark hair, longer, brown eyes
Brigid Says: "I always pictured Michael like Taylor Kitsch, the guy who plays Tim Riggins on Friday Night Lights."
Sarah adds: Michael is seriously prickly in Storm, and hard to like at first... but BOY does he have his reasons. If you're curious--and guys, you SHOULD BE--you can download Elemental, a prequel to Storm, which tells Michael's story, for FREE from Amazon, but only for a limited time! Hurry up! GO! GO! GO!
Long blonde hair, blue eyes, very pretty.
Becca's best friend.
Sarah Adds: And I might have just heard a little rumour that Quinn's going to play a much bigger part in the next book, Spark...
